Jason Day had it sewn up when he stepped on the green and the tears began to flow. Day continued to cry after sealing the victory:

Before this weekend, Day had nine top-10 finishes in majors. At the British Open last month, he entered the last round tied for the lead but finished fourth. At the U.S. Open in June, Day had a share of the lead after three rounds despite collapsing on the course during the second round because of vertigo.
