Video shows Chiefs’ Andy Reid check on Travis Kelce after he landed on his head
When the Chiefs drafted Travis Kelce in 2013, he was just 23 years old.
Now in his 13th season, Kelce is 36, so that means he’s spent more than one-third of his life playing for Chiefs coach Andy Reid.
Those two have had a long relationship, and if you’ve known anyone for that length of time, you realize there can be some bumpy moments. So it has been for Kelce and Reid, and fans saw that on the Chiefs sideline this season.
But Reid and Kelce have a strong bond, and it was on display Sunday after a freaky play. Kelce caught a pass near the end zone and landed on his head. Initially, it looked like it could have been a scary injury, but Kelce apparently was fine.
Reid checked on Kelce during the game, and the X account El Travedor shared video of the cool moment.
