Chiefs’ Jawaan Taylor shares photos from his engagement: ‘Every prayer answered’

It was a big weekend for right tackle Jawaan Taylor. And, honestly, the Chiefs’ blowout win over the Ravens was only a small part of it.

Taylor became engaged as he proposed to his girlfriend, and that was the blessed news for him.

“Every prayer answered in one yes,” Taylor wrote on Instagram. “💍 Thank you Jesus! #Engaged”

Taylor, 27, shared photos from the proposal, and he went all-out on red roses for the event.

Many of Taylor’s teammates sent their best wishes.

“Congrats!!” wrote center Creed Humphrey.

Wide receiver Xavier Worthy added: “Congrats family.”

“Congratulations!!” wrote defensive lineman George Karlaftis.

Defensive lineman Charles Omenihu wrote: “Congrats bro!”

Fullback Carson Steele added: “Congrats brotha 🔥”

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes wrote: “Congrats!!!”

In July, Taylor shared photos on Instagram as the happy couple commemorated their first anniversary together.

“One year. One beautiful, unforgettable trip around the sun with you,” Taylor wrote. “You’ve filled my heart with so much love, laughter, and peace. I’m blessed to call you mine. I love you sweetheart. Happy Anniversary!”
