For Pete's Sake

Chiefs fans sound off following KC’s 22-9 win over the New York Giants

The Chiefs got their first victory of the 2025 season. Finally.

After dropping their first two games, the Chiefs downed the Giants 22-9 on “Sunday Night Football” at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

It wasn’t always pretty.

The Chiefs offense sputtered for most of the first half, the defense was plagued by some ill-timed penalties and Harrison Butker missed another field-goal attempt.

But the Chiefs’ offense showed signs of life in the second half with a pair of touchdown drives that covered more than 70 yards. The first ended with a touchdown catch by wide receiver Tyquan Thornton, and the second included this incredible grab by Thornton.

While it wasn’t the most aesthetically-pleasing victory, here is what Chiefs fans were saying about the team and the win over the 0-3 Giants.
