Shooter McGavin is a Buffalo Bills fan.

Well, actor Christopher McDonald, who plays Shooter in the “Happy Gilmore” movie, is part of Bills Mafia. McDonald has experienced some heartache thanks to the Chiefs. Buffalo has been eliminated in the playoffs four times in the last five seasons, twice in the AFC Championship Game.

But McDonald doesn’t let his sports fandom interfere with his work. McDonald returns as the villain Shooter in “Happy Gilmore 2,” which is being released this month. And he crossed paths with a Chiefs star on the set.

Travis Kelce has a role in the sequel, and McDonald raved about the Chiefs tight end Wednesday while on “The Rich Eisen Show.”

“Travis Kelce did a great job,” McDonald said. “Travis Kelce: funny, really good looking. I think he wants to be an actor, because he’s got it. He’s got the gift. Him and his brothers are both whack jobs, anyway. Super funny.”

“Spoken like a Bills fan, right there,” Eisen quipped.

“Exactly, baby, that’s right,” McDonald said.

Adam Sandler, who co-wrote “Happy Gilmore 2” and stars as the title character, spoke about Kelce during an interview on “Entertainment Tonight.”

It came in response to a query about Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

“Taylor’s incredible. Taylor’s so damn nice to my family, and has always been,” Sandler said. “My kids met Taylor just a bunch of times over the years, and she’s ridiculously nice to them and warm. And Travis is such a gentle, nice guy and funny as hell. And he’s like the guys I grew up with.

“When I was with Travis, it reminded me of my buddies in high school, and just being able to laugh and say the things you want to say. And he certainly is a stud. He’s a great actor and a great human.”
