Have you ever looked back at something dumb you did and regretted it?

I think we all have at some point in our lives, right?

Las Vegas Raiders players did when they came to Arrowhead Stadium for a 2021 game and decided during pregame warmups to gather on the Chiefs logo at midfield.

Hours later, the Raiders headed home after being stomped 48-9.

Here is Yannick Ngakoue encouraging his teammates to join him at the Chiefs logo on that day.

While on the Bussin With The Boys podcast, former Raiders running back Josh Jacobs recalled that ill-fated decision. Taylor Lewan, one of the podcast co-hosts, was on that Raiders team and he also spoke about how that troll job backfired spectacularly.

“We came in, the boys wanted to go on the logo with the Chiefs, and we got our ass whooped,” Lewan said. “And Josh is in the locker room after the game fuming about (it).”

Jacobs said the Raiders had no business trying to act like they were on the same level as the Chiefs.

“I told them, do not do that. (It’s) dumb,” Jacobs said. “We are their stepbrothers. We are the little brother at that point. We ain’t beat them enough to deserve that right. We’re not even winning enough to deserve their right to go do that. You know what I’m saying? Like it was dumb. ...

“I didn’t go do it. I stayed back. I was like, ‘They’re not gonna catch me on that logo,’ and then we lose.”

Jacobs added: “My exact words was, ‘If y’all gonna do it, y’all better stand on that.’ I’m like, we better win, literally. Because you can’t do (stuff) like that. We got (blown) out. I was hot in the locker room. I was hot.”

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes had a 139.2 quarterback rating that day and the Chiefs led 35-3 at halftime.

You can watch a clip of the interview here, but be aware there is some cursing.
