‘Kelce Jam’ returning to KC. Date of show seems to have been inadvertently revealed
Kelce Jam is returning.
Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce’s music festival in Kansas City will be held for a third straight year, according to the Kelce Jam X account.
Although event organizers haven’t announced what acts will be performing, or where the show will be held, the date of the concert accidentally was revealed in a Garage Beer contest.
In the official rules for the contest, which has since closed, it says Kelce Jam will be held May 17.
This is what the rules state: “A total of two (2) prizes (‘Prize’) are available. Each Prize consists of two roundtrip tickets from the winner’s home airport, 1 night hotel accommodations on May 17, 2025, 2 VIP Tickets to Kelce Jam 2025 taking place on May 17, 2025, meal stipend for 1 day, and a Garage Beer x Kelce swag pack (‘Prize’). Each Prize value is $2,400, and total Approximate Retail Value (‘ARV’) of all prizes is $4,800. In the event the Kelce Jam 2025 event is canceled or Travis Kelce are unable to attend any meet and greet for any reason, each winner will be paid the remaining value of each Price value subtracted from the total Prize value received up to that time.”
That date fits well with the Chiefs’ Organized Team Activities, or OTAs, which don’t begin until May 27. The first two Kelce Jam shows were held at Azura Ampitheater, and there is no event scheduled at that venue for May 17.
Kelce’s annual show is his way of giving back to Kansas City.
“This city has given me so much love, so much support throughout my career with the Chiefs,” Kelce told The Star last year. “It’s more than just a festival; it’s a way to give back, to celebrate together — the music, the food, the vibes. ...
“Kelce Jam is about creating an experience where everyone comes together as one big family. Kansas City is my second home, and Kelce Jam is my way of saying thank you and showing my love right back.”
