You may have heard this idiom before: “Where there’s smoke there’s fire.”

And if you’re a Chiefs fan, that can be used when discussing where the team will be playing games a decade from now.

Weeks after Jackson County voters rejected a sales tax last year that would have funded a renovated GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium (and a new Royals stadium in the East Crossroads), renderings appeared for a domed stadium in Kansas City, Kansas.

Those again popped up this week after Bob Fescoe of 96.5 The Fan said the Chiefs are “leaning” toward moving to a stadium in Kansas.

Nothing has been determined, of course, but that continued talk of a stadium in Kansas had Chiefs fans discussing what it would be like to attend home games at some place other than GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

Some hated the idea, while others thought it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world. Here is a sample of what was being said, and part of that discussion was based on the renderings of a possible domed stadium.
