Jimmy Fallon trolls Chiefs with their Super Bowl ‘highlight video’ on ‘Tonight Show’

Hey, maybe the Chiefs just peaked early in Super Bowl LIX.

The Chiefs won the opening coin toss thanks to defensive lineman Chris Jones calling tails. Chiefs fans at the Caesars Superdome let out a big cheer when that happened.

There really wasn’t a whole lot to cheer for after that. Safety Bryan Cook’s first-half interception seemed like it could have been a big deal. Instead, the Chiefs melted down during a key stretch late in the first half and lost 40-22 to the Eagles.

It’s been a tough few days for Chiefs fans on social media as fans and players of other teams have relished the loss, and media pundits haven’t been kind of quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

On the “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” the host poked fun at the Chiefs on Monday night. This came in the form of a Chiefs highlight video that didn’t show any plays from the game. But one moment was highlighted.

Take a look (unless the pain is still too fresh, which is totally understandable) at Fallon trolling the Chiefs.
