Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, along with two other Chiefs, are up for iHeart Radio Award
Travis Kelce has played on many big stages during his illustrious NFL career, but he never had done anything like what happened last June.
Kelce was watching girlfriend Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour show when he slipped out of the crowd and into a tuxedo. Kelce, the Chiefs tight end, then went on stage and performed with Swift.
This created quite a stir among Swifties, Chiefs fans and others on the Internet.
Kelce’s performance that day garnered him an iHeart Radio Music Awards nomination for “Favorite Surprise Guest.”
It’s one of two nods in the category for Kelce. He was also nominated along with Chiefs teammates Patrick Mahomes and Chris Jones for their appearance at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium at a Morgan Wallen concert.
Swift’s fans have long hoped to see her walk a red carpet with Kelce, and they may get to see that happen at the iHeart Radio Music Awards show, which will be held March 17.
