Doritos has opened voting for which fan-made commercial it will air during Super Bowl LIX.

There are 25 semifinalists, which you can see here, and to kick off the campaign, Doritos made a commercial starring four Chiefs players in a focus-group setting.

In the spot, quarterback Patrick Mahomes, defensive lineman Chris Jones, center Creed Humphrey and rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy debate the worthiness of the commercials. They end up subtly poking fun at the glut of commercials these days that feature Mahomes.

The focus-group leader notes that Mahomes has been in a lot of commercials and asks what he thinks of the Doritos spots.

“I felt like the acting was great, honestly,” Mahomes says. “And as an actor like you said, I feel like I’m a really good evaluator of talent.”

Chris Jones later adds: “I kind of wish Patrick was in one.”

Mahomes nods and says: “Me too.”

“It’s kind of weird to see a commercial without Patrick in it, right?” Jones says and there is general agreement among the group.

It’s a fun spot.
