Former Pro Bowl quarterback Michael Vick is leaving his role as a Fox Sports analyst for a college job.

Vick was hired earlier this month at Norfolk State to be the school’s head football coach, and he’s got a famous supporter in his corner.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid recorded a video with words of encouragement for Vick.

“Michael Vick, the new head coach of Norfolk State,” Reid said in the message, which was shown on “Fox NFL Kickoff.” “Man, is that school lucky to have you. You’re going to do a great job. Those kids are fortunate to have you, probably most of all to learn from and you’ll be awesome. You’ll be great for the university. And I love you and I know you’re going to do a great job for them. So, all the best going forward. I’m now a Norfolk fan.”

During Reid’s final four years as the Eagles coach, Vick was a Philly quarterback.

“Coach is going to make me cry,” Vick said after seeing that video. “I love that man to death.”
