The very first touchdown pass in Chiefs’ history came on Sept. 10, 1960.

Chris Burford hauled in a 12-yard touchdown pass from Cotton Davidson in the Dallas Texans’ 21-20 loss to the Chargers.

The most recent touchdown pass in Chiefs’ history came Friday against the Raiders at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

Patrick Mahomes’ 6-yard throw to Justin Watson was No. 238 in his career. That’s the most in Chiefs history, one more than Hall of Famer Len Dawson.

Here are the top three.

1. 238, Patrick Mahomes (2017-24)

2. 237, Len Dawson (1962-75)

3. 118, Trent Green (2001-06)

Greg Harvey, who specializes in sports statistics and visualizations, shared a video that shows the all-time passing touchdown leader in Chiefs franchise history (going back to when they started as the Dallas Texans) by year.

This is a really cool way to see who has held the record and how others have done in Chiefs history.
