A kick by the Chiefs’ Spencer Shrader accidentally hit game official on the head
Chiefs fans must be pleased with what they’ve seen from kicker Spencer Shrader in the two games he’s played.
Shrader had a game-winner Sunday and hasn’t missed a kick. And he gave fans a chuckle, too.
We’ll go through this in order. Shrader drilled a 31-yard field goal as time expired Sunday in the Chiefs’ 30-27 win over the Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.
Since taking over for the injured Harrison Butker, Shrader has made all six extra-point tries and he’s 3-for-3 on field-goal attempts.
And that funny part? Well, I missed this Sunday, but X user Mike Hamilton shared a video that showed Shrader inadvertently hit a game official with an extra-point try.
It came after the Chiefs marched down the field on the opening drive of the game and scored a touchdown. Shrader’s extra-point kick hit the net and landed on top of the head of field judge Dyrol Prioleau.
This is funny and the video went viral for good reason.
