It’s a foregone conclusion that one day in the future, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce will don a gold jacket when he’s enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Kelce on Sunday added to his already sterling résumé with six receptions for 62 yards. Kelce now has 11,987 receiving yards, the third-most for any tight end in NFL history.
Thanks to his effort Sunday, Kelce jumped over former Chargers great Antonio Gates on the career list.
Here are the top four.
1. 15,127, Tony Gonzalez (1997-2013)
2. 13,046, Jason Witten (2003-20)
3. 11,897, Travis Kelce (2013-24)
4. 11,841, Antonio Gates (2003-18)
