KC Police ask for suggestions for ‘code 1738’ and Royals fans offer some beauties
The Royals made a splash nationally on Wednesday when people picked up on the players dropping references to Fetty Wap’s “Trap Queen” into media interviews.
Who knew the numbers 17 and 38 could draw such interest? Some Royals fans asked the Kansas City Police department if 1738 meant something in police code. For example, a 1052 means an ambulance is needed. And 1095 means a suspect is in custody.
Sorry to all the @Royals fans who've asked us: #1738 doesn't mean anything in our radio system. Any suggestions if it did?
