Fans who attended the Creed concert Wednesday night at the T-Mobile Center met a previously unknown sixth member of the band.

Perhaps it’s too much to call it kismet that Humphrey was at the show, but the crowd was thrilled to see him.

“How you doing Kansas City?” Humphrey asked the fans, who roared their approval.

Creed lead singer Scott Stapp said the band was giving away a guitar after a song and the person who would pick the lucky winner was Humphrey. Thanks to Humphrey, a young fan named R.J. got the sweet prize.

At least one fan brought a Chiefs flag to the show and was near the stage.

Another video from Wednesday’s concert showed fans were doing a Chiefs chant when Humphrey was introduced.

Emmy Award-winning actor Eric Stonestreet, who grew up in Kansas City, Kansas, was at the concert, too. He shared a video on his Instagram account.

Stonestreet apparently met with band members. One of the people who commented on his post was Creed’s Mark Tremonti.

“Thanks so much for coming!” Tremonti wrote. “It’s been awesome getting to hang with you guys in KC, hope to do it all again soon!”

Guitarist Eric Friedman wrote this to Stonestreet: “Great hangin with you man. Nice to return the favor with the hospitality you showed at the Chiefs game hope to see y’all again soon!”

Although the concert was Wednesday, members of the band were in Kansas City days earlier. Stapp, Tremonti and Friedman met with Humphrey before kickoff of the Chiefs’ 30-24 overtime win over the Buccaneers at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.
