It’s only 50 days until Christmas, which is significant for a couple of reasons.

First, it means there is still plenty of time to do holiday shopping. But more importantly for Chiefs fans, that’s the anniversary of the last Chiefs’ loss. You remember, right?

Since that 20-14 defeat at the hands of the Raiders, the Chiefs have reeled off 14 straight wins, including a victory in Super Bowl LVIII.

That’s the longest unbeaten streak in Chiefs history and KC’s eight-game winning streak to start the season is the third-best in franchise history. The Chiefs began the 2003 and 2013 seasons with a 9-0 record.

The NFL acknowledged the Chiefs’ 14-game winning streak on Monday night, following their 30-24 victory over the Buccaneers. Here is what the league shared on X.

Seems innocent enough, right? Every other AFC team has at least two losses and the Lions are the only one-loss squad, so that message doesn’t appear to be inflammatory. Ah, but fans of other NFL teams were not happy and more than a thousand people responded to that post.

Here are some of the salty responses from those supporters, and as any Chiefs fan can predict, there were mentions of the tired argument that referees and officials are helping KC.
