Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco is on the road to recovery. Or more precisely, he’s on a treadmill to recovery.

Pacheco was injured in the Chiefs’ Week 2 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, and later had surgery on his fractured right fibula. The fear was that Pacheco could miss the rest of the regular season.

But there is reason to believe Pacheco, who is on injured reserve, could be back this season. Pacheco fueled some of that optimism Monday when he posted a video on his Instagram story.

It shows Pacheco on a treadmill. While he wasn’t running just yet, Pacheco appeared to be walking at a quick pace, which is a good sign with 11 regular-season games still on the Chiefs’ schedule.

The song playing in the video is worth noting: It’s “Can’t Stop” by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Here is the video he posted.

Gotta love seeing Pacheco’s smile, right?
