Here’s why actor Dennis Quaid was at Arrowhead for last week’s Chiefs game
Here’s a Tuesday morning question to ponder: What celebrity would be a surprise to see at a Chiefs game?
Just in the past few years, we’ve seen Henry Winkler, Ryan Reynolds, Rob Lowe and the “Big Slick” stars at Chiefs games. Oh, and international singing sensation Taylor Swift, too.
On hand at last week’s Chiefs-Saints game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium was actor Dennis Quaid. OK, that was at least mildly surprising, right?
Some KC sports broadcasters shared photos on social media.
Quaid has starred in movies like “The Right Stuff,” “The Day After Tomorrow” and “The Parent Trap.” He also has a documentary series called “Viewpoint with Dennis Quaid.”
Here is a description of “Viewpoint” from a news release: It “explores significant societal, economic and cultural topics. Hosted by Dennis Quaid, the program aims to educate and inspire viewers by presenting compelling stories and expert insights across various fields.”
The Flint Hills Technical College was recently featured in the “Viewpoint” series.
A source told The Star that Quaid is working on a documentary on the Hunt family. The Chiefs’ CEO and chairman is Clark Hunt. Quaid was seen with some members of the Hunt family at last week’s game.
