Saturday is going to be a big day for Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

In addition to celebrating his 35th birthday, he’ll be host to the Kelce Car Jam, which is a fundraiser for his 87 & Running Foundation. That non-profit helps children in Kansas City and Cleveland.

“This year is the second year we’ve done a car show, basically a block-party style event, that will showcase some of the city’s top automobiles from the Fuel House, a fun car club out here,” Kelce said on the latest episode of his New Heights podcast. “And then I guess a bunch of others that are lined up. It’s gonna be fun. I should have my old school ‘70 Chevelle all revved up and ready to rock and roll. If not, I’ll bring one of the other cars that I have.

“It’s always fun to get out here in Kansas City. Kansas City, they show up every single time that I’ve done anything foundationwise, and I love them for it.”

That 1970 Chevelle became the stuff of legends when Kelce drove away in it following a Chiefs game last year. That’s because he was accompanied by girlfriend, superstar singer Taylor Swift.

The car show will be held at 18th and Walnut from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and there will be at least one special guest and possibly two.

In a cover story about the couple, Us Weekly reported this: “Swift will likely be on hand to celebrate his October 5 birthday with family and friends at his Kelce Car Jam in Kansas City.”

Even if Swift can’t make it, another celebrity confirmed he’ll be at Kelce Car Jam.

Jason Kelce.

“I can’t wait to go,” Jason Kelce said on the podcast. “I missed last year, obviously. Now that I’m retired, I have the opportunity to go this year, and I’m looking forward to it.”

Travis Kelce added: “Always some good food, some fun cars, and just a nice, fun evening for the city to enjoy.”

Tickets were still available for Kelce Car Jam as of Friday morning. You can purchase them here.
