Royals players celebrated playoff win with $200 Taco Bell order. Here’s what they ate
It’s natural for some fans to put professional athletes on a pedestal, but it’s important to remember they are just like you and me.
Case in point: the Royals. After an evening of celebratory imbibing Wednesday following their Wild Card Series win over the Orioles, a case of the munchies soon followed.
The Royals were still in Baltimore, so they couldn’t just go home and eat.
Instead, Royals first baseman Vinnie Pasquantino (or someone close to him) placed an order for ... Taco Bell. Uber Eats delivered $200 worth of food. Here is the breakdown:
- 4 Chicken Quesadillas
- 2 Crunchwrap Supremes
- 2 Cinnabon Delights 12 Packs
- 2 Beefy 5 Layer Burritos
- 16 Beef Soft Tacos
- 4 Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos
- 12 Beef Crunch Tacos
- 2 Large Seasoned Fries
- 2 Sides of Nacho Cheese Sauce
The Royals didn’t need to request any soft drinks with that order because they were probably enjoying some other, uh, beverages.
Pasquantino shared a photo of the food delivery, which likely was to the team hotel, on his Instagram Stories. It’s unclear how many players this order was for, but it appears they were joined by their significant others for the meal.
