Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes made his 100th career start Sunday against the Chargers at SoFi Stadium, and he already has set a bevy of NFL records.

Mahomes turned 29 earlier this month, but he showed Sunday that he can still sling it.

In the second quarter, Mahomes threw a dime to rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy, who showed off that blazing speed that helped him set an NFL Combine record in the 40-yard dash.

Check out this 54-yard touchdown pass.

And while Mahomes already has all those NFL records, he set a new personal mark with that throw.

This is from the NFL’s Next Gen Stats: “Patrick Mahomes’ 54-yard touchdown pass to Xavier Worthy traveled 62.2 yards in the air, Mahomes’ longest completion by air distance of his career.”

Next Gen Stats said Worthy reached a top speed of 21.46 mph, which is incredible.
