Many NFL fans believe game officials favor the Chiefs and that it’s one reason for their recent run of success. That chatter is so persistent that Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce talked about it in the latest episode of his New Heights podcast.

For the record, Kelce was dismissive of that idea, in case you were wondering.

On Sunday, Chiefs fans got some ammunition to use when fans of other teams claim the refs favor Kansas City.

In the second quarter of the Chiefs game against the Cincinnati Bengals at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, cornerback Trent McDuffie was called for pass interference on a throw intended for Bengals star Ja’Marr Chase.

CBS Sports analyst Tony Romo noted that Chase pulled down McDuffie on this play:
