Ex-NFL lineman coming for Chiefs game seeks fan input on best KC restaurants
After playing 11 years in the NFL, Justin Pugh retired following the 2023 season.
Pugh, who was an offensive lineman with the Giants and Cardinals, is not done with football. He shared a message on social media about trying something new: watching games as a fan.
First up is Thursday’s NFL Kickoff Game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium between the Chiefs and Ravens.
Pugh put the word out on X that he was looking for Chiefs fans to help him make the most of his time in Kansas City. What Pugh does in KC likely will be on his podcast, Net Worth.
“I am going to start going to games and experiencing the game from the fans point of view….#ChiefsKingdom I’m coming to you first!
“How could I pass up a game against #RavensFlock. Tag the best Chiefs fans/creators based in Kansas City? I need someone to show me the ropes in KC…Tailgates, local experiences and anything else you think I may need! I’ll review the experience on my channel. #ThePughReview”
Fans had plenty of suggestions for Pugh, but he landed on Joe’s Kansas City as his place for barbecue.
Pugh is looking for someone to join him at Joe’s to talk about what to eat at Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday and do in KC. If fans have an idea for Pugh, he appears to respond quickly on X.
And while Pugh chose Joe’s as his barbecue spot in Kansas City, others shared their ideas. Here are some of those, along with other restaurants for Pugh to try.
