For Pete's Sake

Chiefs’ Travis Kelce did an ‘Office Space’ imitation in mic’d-up video from camp

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has talked frequently about a message he received from a coach as a young player.

“Everybody you meet in this world is either a fountain or a drain.”

That is, people either give energy or take energy. A mic’d-up video from the Chiefs shows Kelce is most certainly a giver.

The video from training camp shows how Kelce pumps up his teammates, cracks jokes, quotes from movies and seemingly has an engine that won’t quit. Heck, Kelce even did a good imitation of Milton from “Office Space.”

“Has anyone seen my stapler?” Kelce asked to no one in particular at one point in the video.

Later, Kelce quoted from “Little Giants” while talking with former Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith.

This is a fun video.

And here is a clip of Milton from “Office Space,” which is now 25 years old. The great Stephen Root played the character who loved his stapler.
