Brittany Mahomes shares sweet photo of Patrick Mahomes reading to kids at bedtime
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ immense success has been built on hard work and talent, but that doesn’t mean he’s not superstitious.
In the Netflix docuseries “Quarterback,” Mahomes detailed the pre-game routine he follows each time he plays.
That process includes a visit to the sidelines following the Chiefs’ pregame drills. Mahomes makes a point of seeing his wife, Brittany, and their kids, 3-year-old Sterling and 1-year-old Bronze.
Fans don’t often see those moments, but we got a look at that family time before kickoff of Saturday’s preseason game against the Detroit Lions.
Brittany Mahomes, who is co-owner of the Kansas City Current soccer team, appeared to be wearing the same shirt that Patrick Mahomes donned for his trip to GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday.
Another adorable moment was shared on Instagram by Brittany as she posted a photo of Patrick reading to their kids at bedtime.
“Sterling’s job is to hold the flashlight so they can see the book,” Brittany wrote. “Bronze started getting very mad he didn’t get to participate in Sterling and Dads bedtime routine, so he now has been added and mom gets to watch this sweetness.”
