It’s not often that Royals catcher Salvador Perez literally looks up to people, but we saw an example on Friday night at Kauffman Stadium.

Former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal played a postgame show after the Royals-Cardinals game using his stage name DJ Diesel.

O’Neal also took time to meet with a few of the Royals players, including Perez and pitcher Brady Singer (and Singer’s baby son). Perez is 6 foot 3 and 255 pounds but he looked small while next to Shaq, who is 7-1 and 325 pounds.

Take a look at that interaction and what Royals fans thought of the size difference between Shaq and Salvy.
