Patrick Mahomes stars in new Dick’s Sporting Goods commercial with Candace Parker
Who would dare to hang up on Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes?
Former basketball player Candace Parker did, but it was just in a fun new commercial for Dick’s Sporting Goods.
In the ad, Mahomes calls Parker and says: “I think my daughter’s going pro at basketball.”
Parker notes that Mahomes’ daughter, Sterling, is just 3 years old.
“Yeah, she’s 3, what’s your point?” Mahomes responds.
Then Mahomes realizes that Parker is at Dick’s Sporting Goods and asks her to pick up a training tool for Sterling.
Parker’s phone rings and others start asking her to get her something from Dick’s as well.
Cavaliers star Donovan Mitchell, the Nebraska volleyball team and soccer star Trinity Rodman also appear in the spot.
It ends with Mahomes talking about being at two-a-days with the Chiefs and asking what the next step would be for Sterling and her budding basketball career.
That’s when Parker hangs up the phone. Here is the commercial.
