Chiefs’ Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes gifted friendship bracelets on red carpet
Chiefs players and coaches who walked the red carpet event for their Super Bowl LVIII ring ceremony last week were dressed to the nines.
And a few got a little extra bling.
That was thanks to the generosity of kid reporter Taylen Biggs.
At one point, Biggs gave Mahomes and coach Andy Reid a friendship bracelet, which is something fans of Taylor Swift exchange at her concerts and elsewhere.
Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who is dating Swift, has received many from Swifties at her concerts and he even got one last year from a fan when he was watching a Philadelphia Eagles game.
Here is Biggs, who appears to be a Chiefs fan, presenting the bracelets.
When photos emerged from the ring ceremony at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, fans took note of the friendship bracelets being worn by Reid and Mahomes.
The friendship bracelet given to Mahomes highlights his marriage to wife, Brittany Mahomes.
Reid’s bracelet has the word “coach,” and he showed it off after getting his ring.
