Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was trounced in a competition last year that went under the radar.

It was GQ’s “Couples Quiz,” and Brittany Mahomes easily won the trivia contest.

The Mahomeses asked questions about themselves, and Patrick Mahomes wanted to know if his wife could name his three favorite musical artists.

“Keep it in the rap family,” he said.

Brittany Mahomes successfully identified J. Cole and Chance The Rapper, but missed Meek Mill.

J. Cole put out a new album last week called “Might Delete Later.” One of the tracks on that release includes a reference to his most famous fan: Patrick Mahomes.

It’s called “Ready ‘24” and here is the lyric:

“I aimed for the stars and hit, (it) was a long shot

I’m tryna get more bread than Patrick Mahomes got

Whether or not it’s because of that particular lyric we don’t know, but Mahomes apparently is a fan of the new album. He shared this message on X:
