For Pete's Sake

People on social media have powers of observation that rival the fictional detective Sherlock Holmes.

Just look at the brouhaha that surrounded the photo of Kate Middleton and her kids.

Another example came Tuesday when the Cincinnati Bengals shared a message on X (formerly Twitter) with their full list of picks in this year’s NFL Draft, which is April 25 in Detroit.

That tiger logo jumped out to many Bengals fans. Was this a new logo for the team? Could it be something that will specifically be used during the NFL Draft? Or was this simply a one-off for a post?

Fans shared their thoughts on the logo, and there was no agreement about whether it was something the team should use again in the future.

Here is a sample of what was being said by those Bengals fans on X.
