Someone gave Isiah Pacheco a goat at the Chiefs’ Super Bowl LVIII parade

Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco is experienced in carrying a football, but he held something different at Wednesday’s Super Bowl LVIII championship parade.

A baby goat. That’s not a joke.

Nor is this: That goat appeared to be wearing a Patrick Mahomes shirt.

You never know what you will see at a championship parade, but this was a new one, for sure.

Pacheco, who just finished his second NFL season by winning a second Super Bowl championship, didn’t seem too bothered to be hauling around the little guy.

That may be the most leisurely walk we’ve seen from Pacheco.

The goat’s name is Patrick and is all of 7 days old and belongs to Laine Mae and Shannon Peterson. Alas, they couldn’t find a babysitter, so they brought him to the parade.

“We’re trying to meet his daddy today,” Peterson said. She planned to hold the goat up like Simba from “The Lion King” when Patrick Mahomes passed.

Chiefs players Justin Reed, Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson stopped by to say hello to Patrick. Missouri Gov. Mike Parson cradled little Patrick at one point, too.
