Chiefs coach Andy Reid and his wife, Tammy, were hugging on the Allegiant Stadium field following Super Bowl LVIII when they were interrupted.
Who would dare to stick their nose into the wonderful moment between the Reids?
It was quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
“Can I get in on this? Can I get in on this?” Mahomes said and sure enough, Mr. and Mrs. Reid invited him in for a group hug.
“I love you all,” Mahomes added. “How crazy is that, huh?”
Andy Reid said to Mahomes: “I’m proud of you!”
Mahomes responded: “What a call, huh?! What a call. Oh my gosh!”
