Chiefs’ Mecole Hardman, L’Jarius Sneed to ‘work’ at KC-area Raising Cane’s on Tuesday

A pair of Super Bowl-champion Chiefs players will be back at work on Tuesday, albeit in a new (and temporary) role.

Wide receiver Mecole Hardman and cornerback L’Jarius Sneed will be working a “shift” at Raising Cane’s at 1000 NE Coronado Dr. in Blue Springs. They’ll be on the job for just an hour (10 a.m. to 11 a.m.) and, well, they likely won’t be working too hard.

Heck, they deserve a break after helping the Chiefs win a second straight Super Bowl championship on Sunday.

Sneed and Hardman will be working the drive-thru and the main counter, the restaurant said.

Hardman caught the game-winning walkoff touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes in overtime as the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Sneed had three tackles and a pass defense as the Chiefs’ defense had another solid game.

Hardman and Sneed have been on the three Super Bowl championship teams over the past five seasons.
