For Pete's Sake

Chiefs’ Travis Kelce didn’t see Taylor Swift before Sunday’s game ... except on poster

One good thing to come out of the Chiefs’ game against the Patriots being flexed out of the prime-time “Monday Night Football” spot is fans in Foxborough could expect better weather.

The Boston Globe’s Dave Epstein said temperatures were forecast to be in the 40s at Gillette Stadium, and the game will end before a rainstorm was expected to come through on Monday.

“The winds are going to be coming in off the water, making it feel a bit raw, so it’s wise to dress warmer than the temperature might otherwise dictate,” Epstein wrote. “There could be some spotty mist or even some drizzle by the end of the game as the flow off the water continues.”

One notable Chiefs fan was prepared for cold weather: superstar singer Taylor Swift.

Swift, who is dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, arrived at Gillette Stadium to a bit of applause from fans.

Swift was wearing a Chiefs stocking cap, which looked warm.

Kelce didn’t see Swift in person at the stadium before the game, but he did see a poster of her in the bowels of Gillette Stadium.
