Chiefs assistant coach spiked his tablet during heated exchange with Chris Jones
Recent history has taught us that anything can happen when the Chiefs play the Bills, and Sunday’s game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium was full of crazy examples.
First off, this was incredible sequence in the fourth quarter when the game was tied. The Chiefs nearly had a sack before Josh Allen threw a great pass to Latavius Murray, who fumbled (or never caught it, depending on your point of view). The Chiefs had a great chance to recover the ball before it was knocked out of bounds.
There was a lot going on here.
That was just one wild sequence. In the third quarter, Chiefs defensive lineman Chris Jones was called for a dubious neutral-zone infraction. He wasn’t happy about it and was still fuming on the sideline.
Cameras caught Jones yelling at someone on the sideline, and an assistant coach (possibly defensive line coach Joe Cullen) didn’t like what he heard, so he spiked his tablet.
No word on whether or not the Microsoft Surface was able to stay in the game.
