Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is known best for his passing skills, but he’s also proved to be a deft runner.

There is perhaps no better example of that than his 27-yard touchdown run in the Chiefs’ AFC Championship Game win over the Titans in 2020. Mahomes deked a defensive player, then tightroped the sideline and eventually bulled his way into the end zone.

During Monday night’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, Mahomes showed off some of those same rushing skills from his epic touchdown three years ago.

In the second quarter, Mahomes was in danger of being sacked when he escaped the pocket by running to his left. Mahomes faked out a defender and somehow stayed in bounds on a 14-yard run.

Some Titans fans were not happy to be reminded about that Mahomes run against their team in that AFC Championship Game.
