Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes admitted he didn’t have his best game Sunday night in KC’s 23-20 victory, but he still impressed at least one teammate.

In a mic’d-up video, cornerback Trent McDuffie said of Mahomes: “That’s a bad man. That’s a bad man.” It came after Mahomes’ victory-clinching scramble.

When the game ended, McDuffie took pride in the Chiefs’ effort.

“It wasn’t pretty. It wasn’t pretty but we fought,” McDuffie said. “We fought, though.”

The video also shows McDuffie lined up against former Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman.

“What up boy,” McDuffie said to Hardman, who spent the previous four seasons with the Chiefs.

Hardman, who played six offensive snaps Sunday, then said to quarterback Zach Wilson: “Alert this. Alert this. Alert this.”

After the ball was snapped, McDuffie played air-tight coverage on Hardman. McDuffie then headed to the sideline and with a laugh, playfully teased Hardman: “Ahh, yeah, Six. I’m on that boy.”

Hardman is wearing No. 6 with the Jets.

Here is the video of McDuffie from Sunday.
