Even Patriots’ Bill Belichick has weighed in on Taylor Swift and Chiefs’ Travis Kelce
Here’s a fact that may surprise people: New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick is a Swiftie.
That is to say, Belichick is a fan of Taylor Swift, the singer-songwriter whose Eras Tour has been a smashing success. Belichick was asked this summer on WEEI’s “The Greg Hill Show” about Swift playing at Gillette Stadium, home of the Patriots.
Not only does Swift play for more than three hours, she apparently did a show in the rain at Gillette Stadium.
“That was pretty impressive,” said Belichick, who added he caught a show. “She’s tough, man. She stood out there and played right through.”
On Monday, Belichick was back on “The Greg Hill Show” and one of the questions was about Swift attending the Chiefs’ 41-10 win Sunday over the Bears at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Swift was there after being invited by Kelce, and the two drove off into the sunset together after the game.
Belichick’s response was hilarious.
“Travis Kelce has had a lot of big catches in his career,” Belichick quipped. “This would be the biggest.”
If you’re wondering: Kelce has 825 career catches.
