Angels use a helicopter to dry field after rainout

Those groundskeepers on the West Coast have got it easy.

Trevor Vance keeps Kauffman Stadium looking great regardless of drought, excessive rain or even snow.

Heck, Vance has never had to bring in a helicopter to keep things looking good.

The Angels ... that’s a different story.

Sunday’s Angels-Red Sox game was postponed by rain, and the teams are playing a doubleheader on Monday. Admittedly, rainouts are rare on the left coast, so the Angels took the unusual step of having a helicopter help dry the outfield.

Here is a Vine from Rob Bradford, who cover the Red Sox for WEEI.com.
