The Royals will play their final game of the 2023 season on Oct. 1 at Kauffman Stadium, and then a big change will take place at the ballpark.

But it’ll be a temporary one.

Golf is coming to Kauffman Stadium on Oct. 6 and Oct. 7 in the form of a Stadiumlinks event. It’s been described by one writer as “a mixture of Topgolf and extreme sports.”

The Royals shared more on the golf event in a news release.

“Stadiumlinks will transform the field at the K into a one-of-a-kind golfing experience by adding tee boxes to the upper deck and nine holes on the field,” the team wrote. “Players will have the opportunity to move to nine different locations, each location represented on the field with its own hole.”

Tickets are $84 for standard tee times and $89 for preferred tee times, the team said. The Royals will not charge for parking.

Tee times, which are available for two to 10 players, can be purchased here.

Last year, Royals Charities held a golf event at Kauffman Stadium, Fox 4 noted. Across the parking lot, GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium was the site of a TopGolf outing in 2017.
