For Pete's Sake

Mizzou supporters join other fans in roasting the school’s ‘Rules at the Zou’ video

There is no such thing as bad publicity, it’s said, but we can all agree there are bad videos, right?

The question is worth asking because Mizzou Athletics on Thursday shared a video on social media called “Rules at the Zou.” It shows the five things fans are supposed to know when they attend a football game at Faurot Field.

Some applauded the school for informing freshmen and other newcomers about how to act.

But the vast majority of people thought the video itself was, well, not good. Cringe is the word most used.

And it wasn’t just fans of other schools that commented about the quality of the video. Many Mizzou fans also expressed their displeasure.

Some were trying to say this Mizzou video is a parody of an obscure St. Louis Rams video. Perhaps, but few made that connection. You can judge the video for yourself. Here it is along with comments from fans.
