Royals’ Bobby Witt Jr. signs endorsement deal with CommunityAmerica Credit Union
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been appearing in commercials for CommunityAmerica Credit Union since 2018.
Soon, Kansas City sports fans may see Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. in an ad for that financial institution.
CommunityAmerica announced earlier this month it had signed Witt to a “multiyear partnership.”
“We are thrilled to welcome Bobby Witt Jr. to the CommunityAmerica family,” CEO Lisa Ginter said in a news release. “His work ethic, generosity and collaboration, and commitment to paying forward his success in our community is a great reflection of our mission. Bobby is a great role model in demonstrating what it means to be a champion, both on and off the field.”
Witt, 23, is batting .272 this season with 21 home runs, 34 stolen bases, 71 RBIs and a league-best seven triples.
Since the All-Star break, Witt is slashing .321/.357/.615 with seven home runs and 24 RBIs in 26 games.
“CommunityAmerica is a fantastic partner because they share my commitment to teamwork, family and our city,” Witt said in a news release. “I work hard to succeed on the field, and I see the same level of dedication with CommunityAmerica’s focus on member satisfaction and community outreach that’s building a stronger, more vibrant Kansas City for all.”
