There was much excitement among sports fans in Texas, Ohio, Florida and Utah last week.

The common link for those fans was the Big 12 Conference, which on Friday officially welcomed Houston, Cincinnati, Central Florida and BYU to the fold.

Joining a Power 5 conference is a big deal for those schools and their supporters. They were particularly proud of displaying the Big 12 logo in social media posts.

That included BYU Football, but there was something amiss with a photo of the Cougars’ football field. The Big 12 logo looked right. It was just the placement on the field that caught the attention of fans.

Take a look.

Did you see it? The Big 12 logo is on different yard lines on the field. On one side, the logo is on the 25-yard line and it’s on the 15 on the other side.

One fan wrote: “The OCD in me is freaking out over one BIG 12 logo on the 25 and another on the 15.” BYU responded by owning up the error.

Does this remind you of a certain commercial featuring the Chiefs? You’re not alone. “Great Googly Moogly.”

Here are a few other responses to the BYU tweet.
