Nikola Jokić made history during the Nuggets’ 109–94 victory over the Heat on Wednesday in Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

Jokić had 32 points, 21 rebounds and 10 assists in Miami, and it was the first time a player ever had a 30–20–10 game in NBA Finals history.

And yet, the Nuggets player who lit up Twitter on Wednesday night was rookie Christian Braun. He scored 15 points, making all but one of his eight shots and had four rebounds.

Braun, who played at Blue Valley Northwest High School and won a national championship with the Kansas Jayhawks, did that in just 19 minutes. He drew praise from his Nuggets teammates and his name was trending on Twitter.

Here is a snippet of what fans were saying on social media about Braun.

Former KU star Paul Pierce was blown away by Braun’s basket over Heat star Jimmy Butler. But a word of warning, there is offensive language in the video.
