L’Jarius Sneed on Tyreek Hill: ‘I take notes on what he said’ about the Chiefs
No matter what continent it was played on, the Chiefs’ game against the Miami Dolphins in the 2023 season promised to be a big one, even before the chirping began.
Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill facing his former team guaranteed that would be the case.
Then Hill began having a little fun while talking with some former Chiefs teammates last month on their podcast. Hill said he’d be the Chiefs’ “worst enemy” and would have to flash his signature peace sign during the game.
Chiefs cornerback L’Jarius Sneed has taken note of Hill’s chatter.
“Tyreek’s been talking a lot of trash, himself, this year. He’s talking about coming back to Arrowhead. We’re going to show him, though, when he get there,” Sneed said Tuesday on the NFL Network’s “NFL Total Access.”
At the time of Hill’s trash-talking, the expectation was that he’d return to GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. But we now know the game will be in Frankfurt, Germany, in November.
Even though the game is being played abroad, Sneed said the Chiefs are aware of Hill’s playful trash-talking.
“I don’t really get into it, but I take notes on what he said. You know, I see it,” he said. “I been on the Internet and I’ve seen what he’s saying. We’ll see once he comes to Arrowhead.”
The Chiefs and Dolphins had a fun Twitter exchange on Wednesday after their Germany game was announced.
