Chiefs coach Andy Reid is known for drawing up some really creative plays, and sometimes that includes the team’s huddle.

One of the most talked-about Chiefs plays from the 2022 season came in a victory over the Raiders in Las Vegas.

The Chiefs’ “Snow Globe” huddle featured the players running in a circle before breaking into formation.

Remember this?

Proof that the Chiefs’ spinning huddle entered the nation’s consciousness could be seen Friday night in Kansas City, Kansas.

The Savannah Bananas baseball team played the Monarchs at Legends Field. The Bananas are an exhibition team that refers to itself as the “World Famous Baseball Circus.”

There’s usually a lot of dancing, unusual pitching deliveries and fun fan activities at Bananas’ games. During Friday’s contest, former Royals pitcher Jeremy Guthrie joined the Bananas and he donned a Chiefs helmet for an homage to the spinning huddle.

The Chiefs also ran a smaller version of the spinning huddle during Super Bowl LVII.
