The Royals’ success really is going national. It’s showing in the way people across the country spend their money.

To wit: Fanatics released a list of the top-selling jerseys for American League players based on their position since the start of the 2015 seasons.

A No. 4 Alex Gordon jersey is tops among left fielders, while a No. 13 Salvador Perez jersey is first among catchers. Both are multiple Gold Glove winners and have been chosen for multiple All-Star Games.

The other jerseys: pitcher Felix Hernandez of the Mariners, DH David Ortiz of the Red Sox, first baseman Miguel Cabrera of the Tigers, second baseman Dustin Pedroia of the Red Sox, shortstop Xander Bogaerts of the Red Sox, third baseman Manny Machado of the Orioles, center fielder Mike Trout of the Angels and right fielder Mookie Betts of the Red Sox.
