After months of speculation and one well-known darkness retreat, the Aaron Rodgers trade finally took place Monday.

The Packers sent their star quarterback to the New York Jets for multiple draft picks, and made the divide between AFC and NFC star singal-callers even more lopsided.

CBS Sports’ Cody Benjamin ranked the quarterbacks in each conference, and it’s no surprise the Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes is first in the AFC.

The Chiefs will face each of the next five quarterbacks on the list in the 2023 season: Bengals’ Joe Burrow, Bills’ Josh Allen, Chargers’ Justin Herbert (twice), Jaguars’ Trevor Lawrence and Rodgers.

Also on the Chiefs’ schedule is a game against the top-ranked NFC quarterback, the Eagles’ Jalen Hurts. The Chiefs will also play against the NFC’s No. 3-5 ranked quarterbacks: the Vikings’ Kirk Cousins, Lions’ Jared Goff and Bears’ Justin Fields.

Of the Chiefs’ 17 games, only three will be against a quarterback who has either not started in the Super Bowl or made a Pro Bowl.

Here is a closer look.
